Valentine Mailboxes

The week after Christmas 2008, I was shopping in the $1 spot at Target and spotted these cute little mailboxes. I thought then that they would make fun little gifts for my staff. I supervise 4 employees (soon to 5) so I got 4 little red boxes (they also had pink and white). A few weeks ago, I decided to make a couple more for the other 2 managers but couldn't find any red ones. Luckily my sis spotted 2 white ones so I altered them with some scrapbook paper I already had.

I actually like the looks of the altered ones better but didn't have the time (or the energy) to do them all and the red ones looked pretty cute just as they were, so I left them that way.

I filled each one with a small little tube of bubbles, 2 mini mechanical pencils, a cute little rubber stamp (each one was different), mini Toblerone bars, a Kit Kat, a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, a few Strawberry Creme Hershey Kisses, Mini Tootsie Rolls, a pack of Big Red Gum and a pack of Sweet Tart Hearts. I actually had room in there for more candy but didn't want to pack it to the top - I wanted to leave some room in there so it was easy to see what was in it and to get the stuff out.

Anyway, I was really happy with how they came out and I'm looking forward to giving them out at work tomorrow.
