Okay, I admit I am a bit of geek and find things like this funny - this is one of my all-time very favorite Far Side comics. I hope you like it too !
I don't know why it cracks me up but it just does !!

Okay, okay - this will be the last T-Rex funny for a while - I just had to get this one in though since it also relates to knitting.

August 2013 Movies
Here are the movies (new to me) that I saw in August 2013
Amélie - oh my gosh - what an adorable movie! It is a French film with English subtitles. I've wanted to see this for a long time because I was intrigued by the description. So, so cute!!
The Butler - GREAT movie - I love Forest Whitaker, he has been one of my fave actors since I saw him in "North & South" - he is so talented and doesn't disappoint here. The movie was not exactly what I thought it would be. I thought it would be mostly about him and his interactions with the different presidents and things he overheard or saw but....it was really a movie about the civil rights moment and how it effected his family. It is great for learning about the civil rights movement (while the movie spans about 80 years, about 90% takes place during the 1960s)
That is is!! - I've been out of town a lot. Both movies are great and I recommend them!
