My dad would have been 80 years old today - this photo was taken when he was 77 - he doesn't look it, does he? He was young at heart, always was. He loved his Pedro and I know Pedro looks for him to come home. They will be together one day. Now he is in Heaven with Gizmo and I know they were both so happy. Plus I know he is with all the other members of our family - 2 legged and 4 legged kind alike.
I am missing daddy terribly today - I do every day but today is especially hard because it is his 80th birthday. I should be going out with him and celebrating this weekend - but I suppose God was ready for him to go home.
