As I mentioned before, I started a shawl for my mom. My hope is to finish by Mother's Day...my reality, hmmm, probably isn't going to happen. If I could stay home and knit all day, I know I could but...life must go on. There is work, concerts/shows, house cleaning, etc. that comes first. I suppose I should have started this earlier, maybe around January (haha) but I was working on other projects.
Oh well...no problem, if it isn't finished by Mother's Day then it will be saved for her birthday.
I'm moving along rather well though, considering the lack of time I have had to knit lately. I have completed 12 pattern repeats and rarely make a mistake now (click on the photo to enlarge but try not to look for the mistakes) 😛
I'm happy with it so far. It will be wider when it is done, because it needs to be blocked, which will stretch it out. I can't wait to give it to her!
I can't work on it tonight (Thursday is usually my "TV" and crafting night) because I am going to see Billy Crystal!! Looking so forward to it!
